Sometimes we really do just need to start where we are. Just start with what we have at our disposal. This program offers the ability to start small. Start with making better choices that can be started any day of the week. In this week's Live Coaching Session, I cover how you can ease into this program so that before long you will have fully embraced this into your lifestyle. And it will become your lifestyle.
How would you answer the question, "are you worthy of healing?" Do the actions you are taking now reflect your answer to this question?
Let's face it, there are times when life just seems to be coming at you from all directions. There's financial stress, relationships to nurture, work and home life to balance, illness, loss, an ongoing pandemic...the list goes on. You find yourself dealing with a myriad of emotions and stressors. As stress and tension builds, your body automatically goes into a fight or flight response.
The key to healing is 100% mindset transformation and embracing the lifestyle. In this live session we are going to discuss digging deeper and using the tools provided in this program to help us address the challenges, emotions, and frustrations that we will go through as we discover the new healed version of ourselves.
This journey is going to be an exercise in mindset. Mindset, especially growing a positive mindset, aka attitude of gratitude, is going to be 100% key to your success in finding healing. I encourage you to embrace and recognize all the emotions this healing journey is conjuring up for you. It's ok to feel emotions of sadness, grief, and frustration over the diagnosis and the life and person you once were. Feeling those things is a NORMAL part of the healing process.
Over the last couple of years there have been many diet fads that proclaim to be healthy and good for you, the problem is that many of these fad diets or trending diets can actually do more harm than good when it comes to thyroid health.
Living with an invisible disease, you’ve learned how to live life around the challenges presented by your symptoms all for the sake of appearing normal. This can be very isolating. Sometimes we bring that isolation on ourselves because we will shut out the outside world because we just don’t have the energy to deal with whatever life is throwing our way.
For those of us with autoimmune diseases catching a virus can set us back weeks if not months in our healing process. It's important to understand that our immune system is not a single entity but a complex system. It’s made up of our cells, organs, tissues, and proteins. When one or all of these things is out of whack it can make for a weakened immune system.
What can you do when you just no longer feel motivated to continue this healing journey? Things are not progressing as fast as you'd like, and you are feeling like you want to the throw in the towel. So, what do you do to get your motivation back?
In this program we focus heavily on nutrition, but I don’t want that to take away from the fact that our mindset is going to play a huge role in our healing process. You can’t experience complete healing without completely having your head in the game. And you need to love yourself!
